Welcome to the MacDeb website. MacDeb is a small utility for MacOS
Classic endowed with the ability of extracting files from Debian
.deb ar archives commonly used for packaging Linux
and UNIX software. MacDeb is released as open source under the terms
of the GNU Public License.

The current version of MacDeb is 1.0. You can
download it here or

in both places along with the source code. You'll need the
Aladdin StuffIt
Expander utility to decompress the .sit.hqx archive. MacDeb
require a PowerPC processor and MacOS 8.1 or later. |
